Ferrari 250 GTO released in 1962 is put up for sale in Great Britain. The stated price is 45 million pound sterling or about 56 million dollars. If 250 GTO is really sold for this amount then it would become the most expensive car in the world! Meanwhile, now this title belongs to another 250 GTO (1963) that was sold out at the auction for 38 million dollars in 2013.

It’s worth to mention that this blue Ferrari 250 GT has taken part in several legendary car racings. So, in 1962 it took the second place in the overall standings in "12 hours of Sebring" and the sixth one in "24 hours of Le-Mana" in the same year. 

All in all there ware released 36 Ferrari 250 GTO’s and each of the remaining cars is still a dream for any collector.
