Toyota has regained its position as the world's most valuable auto brand
leaving behind BMW brand, according to the BrandZ
Top 100 report. Despite Japanese automaker Toyota’s millions of recalls over the past
year, it has managed not to lose its consumers trust but to strengthen its
positions on the world arena. Toyota’s
brand value increased 11 percent to .2 billion (€160.85 billion) during the
past year.
It will be recalled that Toyota previously was the world’s most valuable auto brand from 2006 through 2009 in BrandZ Top 100 annual ranking. This year Toyota is once again the world’s most valuable auto brand overtaking BMW, followed by Mercedes-Benz, Honda, Porsche. The sixth place was taken by “green leader” Nissan. The Top10 is concluded by VW, Ford, Audi and Lexus.
