The first shots of new Lada Niva came into view spontaneously at Brazilian mass media.

As they stated new Niva will be assembled not only in Russia but also in Brazil which will be developed in collaboration with Renault. In this case Niva will become the most accessible SUV in Brazil being exported to all the countries of Latin America.

The new Lada Niva (Lada 4x4) would be built in partnership with Renault, who will provide the platform from the Dacia Duster. It is more likely that the new generation would be developed on the basis of nowadays Chevrolet Niva. The Niva will be offered in two body types: a three door and a five door with a slightly longer body, as well as pick-up specially developed for Latin American market.
