The American super car maker, Shelby Supercars (SSC), which once produced the Ultimate Aero (the fastest car in the world before being beaten by the Bugatti Veyron-ed) ready to launch another fast car. The name of the car is SSC Tuatara – 12km/h faster than nowadays leader Bugatti Veyron.

The name “tuatara” is inspired by the name of a lizard in New Zealand. These lizards have the DNA of the fastest growing in the world. That’s what Shelby wants the new supercar.

Designed by Jason Castriota, tuatara SSC supercar engine capacity is 7.0L V8 twin-turbo, combined with gearbox 7 level, capable of spraying power until 1350 horsepower and able to make SSC tuatara fast track to 443 km per hour speeds. It should be noted that the fasted from among the cars is Bugatti Veyron Super Sport so far with an engine of 1200 HP and maximum speed of 431 km/h.

SSC Tuatara will come to light in the current year.
