Mini cars have become a fair part of European automakers’ business. So, Peugeot has launched a new 208 model vehicle.

It will go on sale in three- and five-door body styles featuring totally revised appearance.  The wheelbase remains unchanged as the one of its predecessor Peugeot 207, but not design - according to the manufacturer the interior space has undergone considerable expansions. Besides it is much more lighter in height in comparison with Peugeot 207.

The 208 will be offered with a pair of 1.0 litre and 1.2 litre petrol engines powering 75 and 100 HP, created to replace 1.4 and 1.6 litre 207 models. Also the car will be equipped with Peugeot's e-HDi Micro-hybrid systems, including auto stop/start systems. Fuel consumption will be as low as 3.4 l/100km.
