Nissan has announced a passenger version of its NV2500 van coming in
2012 that will be able to carry a couple of hockey teams.
The NV3500 HD Passenger Van features 12-passenger seating spread
through four rows.
The third and fourth rows fit 3 passengers, while 4 passengers
can be accommodated with comfort at the rear one. There will be separate lamps
for reading and a number of 12V and 120V outlets.
Nissan says NV3500 HD interior can be configured 350 different ways
beginning from folding rear row seats ending with the second and the third row
seats which can be removed from the cabin at all.
All necessary options are spread on driver’s
cabin as well. Nissan NV3500 HD will be equipped with the navigation system,
rear view cam, Bluetooth. Powering the NV3500 HD will be one of two engines – a
4.0-litre V6 that produces 261-horsepower or 5.2-litre V8 that makes 317-horsepower.
Both are mated to a heavy-duty 5-speed automatic transmission and rear wheel
drive.
