Chrysler announced that it will be offering an in-vehicle wireless charging option for dell phones starting with the release of the new Dodge Dart, a compact car that ships this spring.

The device was offered by Mopar –  Chrysler’s aftermarket parts and accessories division. The charging mat will be located just below the center stack and in front of the center console, or just a reach beyond the shift lever. Chrysler says the system will work with Android-based devices, iPhones, and Blackberries.
