Porsche 911 Parade breaks Guinness world record 09.08.2013

Silverstone, UK - а glittering parade of more than 1200 Porsche 911s took to the Silverstone Grand Prix circuit, as the Silverstone Classic celebrated the 50th anniversary of the world's most iconic sportscar. 
Organizers managed to squeeze an incredible 1208 of the Porsches on to a packed circuit, setting the new world record for the Largest parade of Porsche cars.The World's Largest Parade of Porsche Cars included the most famous models from past and present, such as legendary Carrera, RS, RSR, GT, Speedster, Targa and Turbo variants.
Mark Porsche, the son of Porsche first 911 models designer Ferdinand Porsche, also took part in the parade. It should be noted that Porsche first generation launched at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1963, and the last seventh generation - in 2011. 
The 911 has been at the heart of the Porsche brand with more than 820,000 having been built in the proceeding five decades – making it the most successful sportscar in the world.
